Why "index only" exists. Some upstream repositories do not grant redistribution rights.
Copying that content into a public repo would violate their license, so those entries carry metadata and a
direct upstream link instead. You still find them; you just install them from the source. The check is
automated in scripts/check-licenses.js and runs on every pull request.
